OUTLINE:-
We have shifted, we’re learning about carving time out. The commitment required to pause from our distractions and dive into space to offer ourselves the nourishment of listening. Conscious breathing; conscious thought; conscious movement.
This retreat will be a space to learn new ways and techniques in nature to focus ourselves . We’'ll be offering gentle stretching with yoga, deep breathing meditations, hiking the wonderous Downland (we’ll be walking this landscape in which we live) eating mood boosting delicious food.
We know you need time away to breathe, feel free and move into levity. So we have curated a wonderful retreat to deliver you, a feeling of adventure and so you remember your wild spirited self.

VENUE - TILTON HOUSE
Your home for this break is the wonderful Tilton House, nestled in the South Downs National Park, just over 90 minutes from London. Steeped in Bloomsbury History, this storied house is magical.
Yoga Sessions with Lynne Jarrett
These 90 minute sessions will involve gentle stretching, focusing on conscious breath-work and re-balancing before embarking on the days ahead.
Guided walks
Guided hikes along rugged coastal paths with inspiring sea views, our walking leader is Tilton Houses’, Shaun TRELOAR. He has lived in the Downs for over years and knows the best routes for stirring the soul.
Fitness/ Boxercise Class with Lucy Pinto
Using controlled resistance training we see how our bodies can gain strength through grounded movements with longevity in mind – our planes of motion take limited stress on the mind and body with life changing results, class last one hour. Lucy will be available for follow up Q&A.
Switching our focus to the trunk, core strength is essential for good posture, stability and preventing injuries. We look beyond the stress inducing crunch and learn how our core can be used to accelerate a healthy, happy lifestyle
Breath Workshop with Melanie Lacy Fewtrell
Melanie is passionate about helping you to be more empowered in managing both mental & physical health, and will show you some techniques on to improve through breath. This one hour workshop is eye opening, and recommended.

SUP:-
SUP on one of the best locations in the South East for paddle sports. Enjoy the calm waters of the stunning Cuckmere river meanders, and the open sea at Cuckmere Haven. With breath-taking views of the Seven Sisters Country Park and Seaford Head, where better to get out for an adventure on the water. There can be nothing more idyllic than SUP down the famous Cuckmere River out to sea. There will be times to take photos of this magical landscape.

This is Tilton House’s own events company, we have used 15 years of knowledge and experience in running retreats to create balanced and informative retreats for you to enjoy. Polly and Shaun will be your hosts for the weekend. Polly is the founder of Department of Wellbeing and also a PG Cert Coach. She will be offering a free 30 minute 1 to 1 coaching session. Shaun will be leading you on guided walks of the South Downs National Park a designated AONB, a landscape that has helped nurture him back to health.
YOGA:-
LYNNE JARRETT
Lynne has been practising yoga for about twenty years and teaching for thirteen of those. Lynne teaches Hatha, Pregnancy, Post-Natal yoga and provides one-to-one tuition. Lynne’s style of yoga is a combination of her yoga experience over the years but has strong influences from a mixture of Iyengar and Scaravelli yoga.
SUP:-
We will deliver you to Cuckmere Haven, for your SUP session. SUP along the river in this unique and historic landscape.
Walking Guide:-
Tiltons’ own Shaun Treloar will take you on guided walks across the inspiring South Downs National Park.
Fitness/ Boxercise Session:- LUCY PINTO
Coach and co-owner of The Box Brighton Lucy specialises in strength & conditioning, boxing as well as a focus on body weight movement.
A certified Level 4 trainer with a qualification in sports psychology, Lucy has worked with people from all walks of life – from those taking their first steps into the fitness world to experienced athletes who want to improve their goals while maintaining a healthy training regime
BREATHWORK:- MELANIE FEWTRELL
Melanie discovered breathwork at a yoga retreat in 2003, where the experience transformed her understanding of how effective different breathing techniques can help deal with stress, anxiety, confidence, energy levels & relaxation. She is now an Inspirational Breathing Breathwork Practitioner, working to raising breath awareness & support clients overall well-being. She offers virtual 121’s, groups, schools & businesses breathwork, as well as face to face sessions in her local area of West Sussex.

This free session needs to be booked in advance. Session would last for 30 minutes, and you would be required to complete a form prior to booking.

REFUNDS:-
Hopefully you will not need to cancel your retreat, however if you do, here are the Terms and Conditions which apply to this booking. Please read them carefully and get in touch if anything is unclear before you book your place.
1. We can offer a full refund minus a £50 admin charge if we can fill your space. We will refund you upon receipt of payment from the replacement booking.
2. If you are able to fill the space yourself, we can offer a full refund with no charge, once I am in receipt of the full payment from your replacement booking.
3. We can offer you a 100% refund up to 8 weeks before the retreat is due to run.
4. We will offer a 50% refund on the remaining balance up to 4 weeks before the retreat is due to run.
5.Anything less than 21 days before the retreat start date, we will not be able to offer a refund unless you are able to fill your space yourself
6. In the event of a government lock down you will be entitled to a refund or a transfer to another event at Tilton House
